Chemotherapy is a method of prevention and treatment of Mesothelioma by the use of chemical substances. These chemical substances are known as antibiotics, drugs, or agents. Common Chemotherapeutic Agents

Cisplatin : An anticancer drug that belongs to the family of drugs called platinum compounds.
Carboplatin : Carboplatin is an anticancer drug ("antineoplastic" or "cytotoxic") chemotherapy drug. Carboplatin is classified as an "alkylating agent."
Patients who are diagnosed with mesothelioma that is already in the later stages places them beyond the healing benefits of surgery.
